As a result, DMM-GI can be an alternative to the traditional learning model to boost student creativity.ĭigital mind map is a digital tool that is becoming increasingly popular in today’s pedagogical visual aids. This finding indicates that online learning using the DMM-GI model is more effective at fostering student creativity than online learning using the DMM only. The mean creativity score acquired by DMM-GI students (88.30) was higher than the mean creativity score obtained by DMM-control students. The analysis results showed that online learning using the DMM-GI learning model affected student creativity with p˂0.005. ANCOVA was used to analyze the data, using assumption tests consisting of normality and homogeneity tests of variance. Pre- and post-tests were used to obtain data on the student DMM’s creativity. The research instrument was a rubric for evaluating creativity using a digital mind map as the source. The quasi-experiment was performed with 54 students from STKIP PGRI West Sumatra, Indonesia, utilizing a pretest-post-test nonequivalent control group design.
